Mount Media is growing and we are looking for an accountable, detail-oriented Accounts Clerk to join our hybrid team in St. Julians, Malta. We are a leading performance marketing company within the iGaming industry, and work to achieve long partnerships with our clients, who are some of the largest gaming operators online. We deliver more than just out-the-box solutions for our clients – alongside our marketing campaigns, we design, build and maintain web portals and web applications.

The Accounts Clerk will be responsible for a variety of tasks, which means being meticulous and accountable, as well as having good time management and prioritising tasks. It also requires great organisation skills and attention to detail. You will report to the Head of Finance and work closely with two other Finance Team members.
Your daily tasks and responsibilities will include:
- Maintain accurate financial records using accounting software.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable, including tracking debtors.
- Process supplier invoices, journal entries, and payments.
- Issue sales invoices and manage debt collection.
- Reconcile general ledger accounts and bank statements.
- Extract data, perform calculations, and create reports.
- Support internal and external audits.
- Bridge Finance with Compliance and manage onboarding of new suppliers.
- Assist the team with daily administrative tasks.
- Identify and implement efficiencies and process improvements.
To fit this role, you should have the following skills and requirements:
- Starting or in the process of acquiring an Accounting qualification
- Experience of accounting software, record keeping and data entry
- Experience with accounts payable and receivable, including payment processing, invoice posting, receipt allocation, and reconciliations
- Good knowledge of Excel, exposure to organising data using Excel tools
- Good understanding of basic accounting
- Minimum of two years’ experience in a similar position
- Be self-motivated, dependable, detail-oriented, and able to easily adapt, should priorities need to change
- Have excellent analytical, communication and organisational skills
- Someone who can work well in a highly transactional company, and is able to prioritise tasks
- Team player with a positive ‘can do’ attitude
- Fluency in written and spoken English is a must for this role
- iGaming experience is a bonus
